This explains what Coach at Hand collects, why, and who else touches it. It is written to be read rather than to be survived.

Who we are

Coach at Hand is operated from Bulgaria. For anything about your data, write to hello@coachathand.com and a person will answer.

What we collect

When you create an account: your name, your email address and a password, which is stored only as a cryptographic hash and cannot be read back by anyone, including us.

If you set up as a coach or a gym: your headline, description, city, what you coach, your prices, your photos and videos, and — only if you choose to add it — a phone number. Whether that number is shown publicly is a separate switch you control, and it is off unless you turn it on.

What you do in the app: the videos and posts you publish, messages you send, booking requests, reviews you write, who you follow, and what you like.

How the app is used: which videos and profiles were viewed and when. This is how the view counts a coach sees are produced. It is recorded per view rather than as a running total, which means it identifies the account that watched.

Technical information needed to keep you signed in: the address your device connects from and what kind of device it is.

Why we collect it

Almost all of it exists to run the service you asked for: to show your profile to clients, deliver your messages, and let people find a coach.

Push notifications are sent only if you allow them on your device, and only for three things: a new message, a booking request, and a booking being answered.

We do not sell data, we do not run advertising, and we do not share anything with advertisers or data brokers. There are no third-party trackers in the app or on this website.

Who else touches it

Running the service means other companies process parts of it on our behalf:

Neon stores the database. Railway runs the server. Cloudflare R2 stores photos. Mux stores and delivers video. Expo delivers push notifications. Google Cloud Translation translates text when a translation is requested. Some of these operate outside the European Union, which means your data may be processed outside the EU under the safeguards those providers offer.

Each of them acts on our instructions and for no other purpose.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, videos, posts, messages, reviews, bookings and everything else attached to you are deleted, and your videos are removed from the video host as well.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. We do not keep a hidden copy to restore later.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deleting your whole account can be done at any time from the Profile screen in the app, without asking anyone.

For anything else, write to hello@coachathand.com. If you believe we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (Комисия за защита на личните данни).

Age

Coach at Hand is not for children under 14. If you are under 14, do not create an account. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 14, we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app rather than quietly editing this page.
